Season’s Greetings, what a lame expression
Of a time for great rejoicing
At our Lord and Savior’s birth
Happy Holiday, doesn’t sound much better
When you are talking about the day
That Jesus came to live on earth
Don’t you realize what happened?
He changed the course of human-kind
He changed the calendar and time
How can something so exciting
Be reduced to toys and shopping
Without a hint of Jesus, what a crime!
Merry Christmas! Say it!
Celebrate the birth, of the King of Heaven
Now living on the earth
Merry, Merry Christmas!
You can never take it from me
I’ll say it over and over and celebrate with mirth! Word from the Lord in a poem, December 22, 2017, as given to Nancy Nunley
