Being Like Minded!

TO BE LIKE YOU

Days go by and quickly fade
Only memories of love remain
Good times and bad may come
And your grace allows the gain

For Your ways are always higher
Far above all I can think or ask
Higher still than I can comprehend
Your thoughts beyond my grasp

Lord, show me now your mercy
Let me see and let me know
How infinite the depth of love
You are wanting me to show

Love amazing, so Divine
Captures me yet sets me free
Your ways, Oh Lord, are perfect
Can I have this same love in me?

A steadfast love like yours
That never fails to give
Deep compassion flowing free
To show the love you live

I walk in deep amazement
Seeing clearly how you move
To bring this love now thru me
To those of whom you choose

In all my days and all my ways
Your love is clearly given
To those encountered in my walk
On earth as up in heaven

I’ll do my best to be like you
As you direct my ways
To live and love as you do
I’m mirroring your ways!
