Peace and quiet settle my soul
Bringing refreshing and renewal
Like rain falling softly again
Inspiring growth, nature’s fuel
Keeps me moving along the path
To accomplish my God given plan
Joy and love accompany me
Discouragement and gloom to ban
Worry and doubt are leaving
Their presence I will displace
Surrounded by thoughts of trust
And rejoicing in awe of God’s grace
Yes, peace, peace wonderful peace
Coming down from the Father above
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray
In fathomless billows of love!
