GIFT OF LIFE
In the dead of dreary winter Where do I look for life? While cold and darkness threaten To cut me like a knife I need to see and hear it To feel a tender touch That gives again assurance That I am loved so much Life in many facets Sparkling bright and clear Bring you nearer still Giving to me joy to cheer Up from all the death throes That are lying all about Alive with electrifying power God’s appointed hour is out I feel your strength inside me Causing me to want to live And bringing great awareness To this gift of life you give Vitality and zest for living A life of blessed anointing Poured out from heavenly courts On this child of God unfolding For this wondrous gift of life I thank you, My Dear Lord You alone are truly worthy To be worshipped and adored Word from the Lord in a poem as given to Nancy Nunley 1/15/2020
