GOD’S REDEMPTION PLAN
How can blood so red Wash me white as snow? How can sinful lives Be made pure, I want to know Peace to all is given By a Holy God who came From a perfect heaven And Jesus was His name He came to earth to save us And brought redemption’s power Through a virgin in a stable The angels marked the hour With ‘Glory to the Highest’ Singing praises in the night For they knew the greater meaning Of that baby’s destined plight The blood within His veins Was Holy from the start Amazing love unknown to man Could now become a part Of the only perfect answer To the fallen state of man For in a lowly manger Lay God’s redemption plan! Luke 2:11-14 New King James Version (NKJV) 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: 14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Word from the Lord in a poem as given to Nancy Nunley on 12/29/19
