Peace
Peace I leave with you
My peace is greater still
Than all the waiting emptiness
That grabs your heart at will
Concentrate on my great peace
Rest in my arms of grace
No need to worry or to fear
Climb into my lap and take your place
I am your Father, I care for you
I long to hold you and to rock you
You have made mistakes I know
But my love will see you through
Rest, My Child, and be at peace
Let me love you like a Daddy should
I’ll draw you close and comfort you
And give this peace as only I could
Early come, closer still, to know me
When daily struggles come your way
Don’t delay your asking of me
For I will give you peace always
Word from the Lord in a poem as given to Nancy Young January 14, 2019
Philippians 4:6-7 Amplified Bible (AMP)
6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].
Ps 29:11 “The Lord will give strength unto His people, The Lord will bless His people with peace.”
“Peace, peace, wonderful peace
Coming down from the Father above
Sweep over my spirit forever I pray
In fathomless billows of love
“I am resting tonight
In this wonderful peace
Resting sweetly in Jesus’ control
For I’m kept from all danger
By night and by day
And His glory is flooding my soul”
