Rainy days and Mondays get you down?
I send the rain on the just and the unjust
The showers of blessings on some
But others must wait and trust
Time will reveal all my motives
For how I’m directing your life
Sometimes you feel I’ve abandoned
And not helping you overcome strife
But that is just not the truth
I’m leading and guiding your days
Thru sunshine and showers I’m captain
My ship always sailing away
On seas that are rocky and stormy
That is where my strength comes to bare
